- 80%+ discounts on brands you've never heard of
Green flags:
- Specific percentage off a named item's actual retail price
- The product exists on the brand's own website at the stated original price
- Strong reviews on independent platforms (not just the seller's site)
- Clear return policy with no restocking fees
The Outlet Store Trap
Many brands make separate, lower-quality products specifically for their outlet stores. A "Calvin Klein" shirt from the outlet isn't the same quality as one from the mainline store.
